8 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Hall Of Fame 2020 & 2021

6. Short & Simple

Neither Jushin 'Thunder' Liger nor The Great Khali could be in the house for these Hall of Fame shows, and each man kept their speeches short, simple, and sincere.

Perhaps WWE could have reached out to New Japan for access to more Liger footage than was used here, as it's impossible to do his legendary career justice using primarily WCW clips. Nonetheless, when Liger said he had never been so nervous about speaking publically and called the induction a "great honour," it felt right.

Khali, meanwhile, was presented both as a dominant World Champion and a positive role model in his native India. This was a wise move. As divisive as he was onscreen, Khali remains a genuine trailblazer, as evidenced by Kavita Devi, who spoke here.

In a funny moment, Khali raised his hand to reveal the Hall of Fame ring around his pinkie ring at the end. That man is colossal.
