8 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Hall Of Fame 2020 & 2021

7. The Legacy Wing

While the argument could be made that some of this year's Legacy Wing deserve individual inductions for their all-round contributions to wrestling, that they entered the Hall of Fame this way is understandable.

The worst years of 'Dr. Death' Steve Williams' career were in WWE, where he was at the heart of the Brawl for All debacle. Dick the Bruiser's only WWE-adjacent work was through cups of coffee with Capitol Wrestling in 1957. They, along with Gary Hart, Buzz Sawyer, and everyone else, are older names whose best work took place in other promotions, with who the current WWE audience might not be so familiar.

Nice to see the group (rounded off by Ray Stevens, Brickhouse Brown, Baron Michele Leone, Pez Whatley, Ethel Johnson, and Paul Boesch) honoured regardless. The Legacy Wing remains a neat way for WWE to induct such deserving entrants.
