5. Bella Twins' Stunted, Rehearsed Routine

The Bella Twins' induction video focused as much on their expansion into broader, mainstream-adjacent markets through Total Divas and other non-wrestling work as their wrestling careers, which makes sense. Though their in-ring longevity and ability to evolve and work hard through several eras of warrants wrestling warrants an induction on its own, their success isn't limited to the squared circle anymore.

Unfortunately, their speech didn't come off well. Stilted, stunted, and more than a little awkward, this felt like a heavily scripted routine and was about as natural as the average WWE backstage segment. Rather than bouncing off each other organically, it felt like Nikki and Brie were trying to fit their words into too rigid a formula. Thus, it didn't land.

The Bellas paid tribute to everyone from Pat Patterson to Dusty Rhodes, thanking those who helped pave the way for them, but were undone by clunkiness.
