8 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (4 Mar - Results & Review)

It doesn’t seem fair to criticize Andrade’s in-ring Raw return Monday night as if it was some colossal failure.

El Idolo’s first proper match back with the company came against a game Apollo Crews, which ensured it was a well-worked bout, but little else. It was Crews’ first Raw match since July 2023 and Andrade’s first singles match in WWE since October 2020, but it didn’t have much to it.

Andrade won after hitting some of his signature spots, but it wasn’t anything that will be remembered beyond Monday night. There wasn’t anything eye-popping that made you think he was going to be a force in WWE. He already feels like part of the furniture. Worse, this comes a month out from WrestleMania, and he has no specific program, so he’s at risk of being lost in the shuffle.

There are those strange interactions with Dominik Mysterio that could play out into something, so it’s not fair to write Andrade off by any stretch. But after being touted as a huge free agent signing for WWE, it feels like that assessment is a ways off.
