4. Tag Team Squabbling

If you wanted to know why the women’s tag division is largely an afterthought, look no further than the locker room promo with three of the duos.

Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell bickered as Candice is becoming increasingly frustrated (and can you blame her?), only for the camera to pan over and see Tegan Nox and Natalya having almost the same argument, with Nattie telling her partner to “forget our manners” and toughen up. Then the camera swung around to Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri offering their thoughts, which triggered LeRae to verbally lash out at Maxxine before storming off.

And that was it. Three tag teams, all having arguments backstage, with two of the teams clearly not on the same page. These women get a combined 45 seconds of airtime on a three-hour show, and this was what fans got to see of them. It’s no wonder why fans fall silent when they wrestle.

At least they weren’t squabbling in front of Adam Pearce so he could declare that he needed a drink due to all those bloody bickering women.
