8 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 5)

1. 'The Baddest B*tch On The Planet'

The decade's most natural WWE rookie knocked it out of the park last night, delivering one of the best promos of her young wrestling career thus far, and the biggest highlight on Raw's entire three-hour broadcast.

Rousey was strong, focused, and convincing (though her facial expressions still need work). She touched on Evolution, putting her victory against Nikki Bella over huge, before setting her sights on Survivor Series and Becky Lynch. It was respectful, but assertive. Ronda gave the SmackDown Women's Champion props for her attitude adjustment and upturn in fortunes, successfully nodding towards everything the audience loves about Lynch, before amplifying the intensity.

"You may say you're 'The Man,'" she said, "but I am the baddest b*tch on the planet," and down went the microphone.

Nia Jax threatened to drag the whole thing down by showing up when Rousey was finished, but Ronda was fantastic. Though there's still a danger that she'll get booed against Lynch, she successfully avoided the jeers with a perfectly scripted diatribe, fire, and sheer force of character.
