8 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 5)

4. Ugh...

Ember Moon Nia Jax

Speaking of rematches, Ember Moon vs. Nia Jax III was absolutely rotten.

'The Irresistible Force' destroyed the former NXT Women's Champion in quick fashion last week, putting her away in just three minutes and 20 seconds. Moon fared a little better this time, lasting a shade under five mins, though the outcome was the same.

A spirited Moon performance couldn't save what was another dull demolition job, with Jax entirely unconvincing offensively and defensively. How isn't she better than this yet? Her career is now close to 400 matches deep, yet she's still less believable than Performance Center trainees with a fraction of that. The awesome Bianca Belair has worked 114 bouts in her life. Rhea Ripley is on 112. Kacy Catanzaro? 20!

It's clear that the Ronda Rousey match was an anomaly, not a sign of improvement, as the skill-deficient mauler laboured through his short TV encounter, resulting in a victory flatter than AJ Styles' perception of planet Earth.
