7. Jumping Right Into It

Pedestrian pre-match promos aside, Raw didn’t waste much time in getting to a match that could have main-evented the show.

Bianca Belair versus Becky Lynch delivered a lengthy, solid match that featured the EST’s literal strengths, as she hoisted The Man overhead on multiple occasions, tossing and slamming her about, while Becky played the wily veteran, countering the power moves and working submissions.

In the end, it was Lynch’s desperation that saved her, as she pulled a turnbuckle pad off then shoved Bianca into the exposed steel and rolled her up deep for the 3 count. We can disagree with the outcome, but it was a finish (rather than a DQ), and it was a pretty damn good match.
