8 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 1)

6. RK-Bro Boosts Image

Recently, RK-Bro has taken a hit in popularity in terms of just acting like goofs rather than being an entertaining odd couple.

Winning their last couple of title defenses in recent weeks has helped, but their appearance on commentary was a nice was to get them over while putting over the entire tag division. The duo talked up the Dirty Dawgs and Street Profits, with Riddle cheerleading at various points for a good match. Randy Orton and Riddle both reacted with amazement at Montez Ford’s dive over the ring post.

Just having the tag champs out to scout two teams puts a spotlight on the division, which is a lot more than we’ve gotten for a long time. Consider that Orton put over Chad Gable too, so he gave Alpha Academy a shout-out, and then you had Omos make an appearance, so that’s four challengers right there milling about.

Oh, and RK-Bro debuted new entrance music, which was a nice reveal when they walked out.
