8 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 1)
Downs…
7. Fire Kevin Dunn
OK, so we know Jon Moxley and a host of other former WWE superstars would agree with that assessment, as would any fan who suffers from ADHD or epilepsy.
But we have to blame someone for the completely ridiculous cutaway in the aftermath of the tag match between the Street Profits and Dirty Dawgs. The Dawgs has just won thanks to Omos coming down to ringside, and the giant wiped out the Profits and Riddle, leaving Randy Orton on the other side of the ring stewing.
Orton yelled a bunch, tossed a chair and took off his jacket, then started walking around the ring, only for… the screen to immediately cut to a highlight from last week’s Damian Priest/T-Bar match. And just in case you thought it was a mistake, they kept rolling with it, effectively ending a red-hot (the audience was way into it) segment with Orton and Omos immediately.
If that was their way of ending a scene on an uphill swing, that was about the worst way to do it. Just awful, amateur stuff.
