8 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE NXT TakeOver: London

1. An Underwhelming €˜Heated€™ Rivalry

For all the hatred and bad blood that there was supposed to be between Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews, their match seemed to be lacking. It€™s tough to say, because the match wasn€™t bad, but it just felt like there should have been something more to it. Crews earned an NXT title shot by winning a battle royal, last eliminating Corbin. Baron would then interfere in Apollo€™s title match, costing him his shot. Boom! Instant feud. The two had a couple pull-apart brawls in the lead-up to TakeOver, but the brutality one might have expected for this match never materialized. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yakPKjOY3Q Perhaps there will be a second match between the two, as Corbin winning lends itself to that possibility. But this match just didn€™t feel like the kind that really deserves a second round. Maybe Crews and Corbin had an off night, but on a five-match card, this was the only disappointing bout.
