8 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 20)

2. A Rematch?

Drew McIntyre was nailing Dolph Ziggler’s coffin shut during an in-ring promo Monday night, when all of a sudden he pried it back open.

Ziggler demanded another WWE Championship match with McIntyre, only for Drew to note that he literally beat Dolph 24 hours earlier in a match where DZ picked a stipulation that ridiculously favored him. McIntyre told Ziggler to “bugger off,” then left himself when Dolph wouldn’t shut up.

But Ziggler then offered McIntyre the opportunity to pick the stipulation if he’d grant him another title shot, so Drew relented and accepted, which means we get to watch this all over again, but this time with McIntyre with the advantage.

Look, if the stipulation next week leads to Dolph going on a long hiatus from WWE until he freshens up, then we’ll give this an up next week. You couldn’t have a more definitive situation than a guy getting a no-DQ match while his opponent can lose the title via DQ or count-out, and he still loses. But we still have to milk one more match out of this ice-cold feud.
