You know, that losing gimmick is really working to get that wrestler over… said no one, ever.

But yet, Ruby Riott had been on a ridiculously long losing streak (aided by her injury) until Monday night, when she won her first televised singles match since February 2019 by defeating Peyton Royce. To her credit, Riott looked simultaneously shocked and relieved that she actually picked up the win.

Riott is pretty talented, and with the women’s division at a deficit with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair out right now, it doesn’t hurt to try to get Ruby going here.
