8 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable

3. Samoa Joe Debuts

What can you say about a surprise that everyone already knows about? For months, rumors have flown around that Samoa Joe was going to or had signed with WWE. Some pointed to his age (36) as a detriment, but his talent and reputation proved to outweigh any concerns WWE might have had, as the Samoan star saved Sami Zayn from a bigger beatdown from Kevin Owens after their title match. Joe made his intentions clear simply by debuting when and where he did. His staredown with Kevin Owens isn€™t going to sell out Madison Square Garden, but a match between the two will be must-watch television for fans, as Joe is one of only a couple guys who looks like he could go toe-to-toe with Owens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIV1FLJ84o8 It will be interesting to see what happens now, as Finn Balor is the No. 1 contender, but Samoa Joe looks like he jumped the line. Maybe Finn and Joe will fight first, of maybe it will be a three-way match for the title. Either way Joe has shaken things up a little.
