8 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE NXT Takeover: Unstoppable
2. A Star Is Made
At Takeover: Rival in February, Sasha Banks won the NXT Womens Championship in an outstanding match that showed fans just how good she really is. It put her on the map and possibly the fast track to a call-up to WWE. Banks would deliver another great performance Wednesday night at Unstoppable, but she wasnt the only one in that match. Becky Lynch had a star-making performance at Unstoppable, displaying a viciousness you dont even see from the male wrestlers all the time. Lynch ran through a series of submission moves and suplexes, targeting Sashas arm the entire match (while Sasha also employed a similar strategy). Basically, Becky broke out a series of moves fans had never seen from her (or most women) before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdDNK0dBDfE Complete with a new look and new attire, Becky Lynch looked like a star and came out with the fans utmost respect. She came up short, but Beckys performance showed that shes ready to become a breakout star in the womens division.
