8 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 24)

3. Get On With It

To put it politely, Randy Orton is deliberate.

To put it accurately, Randy Orton is slow as hell. We all know that Orton’s slow, methodical pace is part of his persona, both in the ring and how he conducts himself, but when it literally takes him three minutes to walk down the ramp and get into the ring, that’s just ridiculous. It then took him another five minutes to deliver a promo that easily could have been given in half the time without rushing at all.

One argument could be that Orton is building tension and drama, but it just takes forever with him, so much that you find yourself checking your watch rather than being enraptured by what’s happening.

This storyline with Edge is building nicely overall, but perhaps someone could switch Orton to a caffeinated beverage to speed things up just a bit.
