1. The Uncrowned Champion

They could have ignored it. They could have just let it go. But they couldn’t help themselves.

Rather than simply acknowledge the mistake during the WWE Universal Championship cage match, the company decided to turn the whole “Roman Reigns’ feet touched the floor before Brock Lesnar’s feet” into a whole thing.

Worse, WWE went so far as to have Roman come out and call himself “the real Universal Champion.” (Even worse, Seth Rollins repeated it later.) They even had Chad Patton, the referee for the cage match, tweet that he was concerned for the safety of both wrestlers and that he made a mistake.

So now Roman gets to whine and complain about being the uncrowned champ for another month while Lesnar is off. Because that will win him over with the fans.
