Last week, we saw a “softer” side of Samoa Joe, as he tended to Roman Reigns after he was involved in a hit-and-run in the parking lot.

Unfortunately for Sami Zayn, Joe overheard him making fun of the Samoan Submission Machine, and Joe make sure to settle things in the ring. The match itself lasted only a minute or so, with Joe plucking Zayn out of nowhere and locking in the Coquina Clutch and ending things.

Afterward, Samoa Joe accepted Roman’s apology for accusing him of being behind the strange attack on SmackDown a couple weeks ago. But he then turned and told fans he refused to forgive any of them for thinking he was capable of such heinous acts. It was a simple way to let fans know he wasn’t pandering to them anytime soon, which fits his character perfectly.
