3. Cruiserweights Fill Time, Little Else

Yes, we know that the cruiserweight tag match between Brian Kendrick & Drew Gulak versus Muhammad Ali & Jack Gallagher was merely a platform to plug 205 Live and the 2/3 falls match between Ali and Gulak. But man, that was an awfully pointless match.

The bout itself lasted about two minutes, with Gallagher playing face in peril for the majority, only to headbutt Kendrick down and tag Ali, letting the superstar to hit his inverted 450 splash for the win.

It probably took longer to type this entry than it did for the entire match to air, which is concerning. Short matches have their place, but when they get this brief – and without any meaning – it’s worrisome.
