Dean Ambrose finally has started speaking out about why he turned his back on The Shield and attacked Seth Rollins last month.

And while Ambrose initially gave this writer’s absolute least favorite reason – “I don’t owe you an explanation” – he actually said a lot more than nothing. Dean said that The Shield made him weaker, not stronger, and being Rollins’ backup didn’t help either. He talked about regretting his actions before denying the remorse. He hinted at how Seth treated him like a lunatic all the time.

There was a lot there, but the gist is that Ambrose felt like he was an overlooked, underappreciated, undervalued member of the group who never got as much out of the group as he put into it. And Ambrose is poised to become a top heel once we get on the other side of Survivor Series. Hopefully, it will come to fruition.
