8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 27)

4. End The Rowan Experiment

We’re well past the expiration date on the Erick Rowan push.

Rowan once again squashed a jobber Monday night, but this came a night after he was bounced from the Royal Rumble in less than 10 seconds by Brock Lesnar. So basically, Rowan can dominate jobbers, but is useless against top-level talent.

There’s been next-to-no development or progression of storyline since Rowan debuted this strange deal of carrying a cloaked cage to the ring more than two months ago – unless you count going from being upset people approached the cage to trying to make everyone look inside the cage.

WWE needs to either fish or cut bait with this angle, because it’s just a bore.
