See, now that’s how you get fans behind you.

Humberto Carrillo has struggled since his Raw run began, trying to get fans to rally behind him but falling short. He has good looks and a nice arsenal, but he just hasn’t put it all together. There also seems to be a lack of charisma or fire behind him.

Carrillo got a little bit of that going Monday night after Zelina Vega caused a DQ by breaking up his pinfall attempt in his United States Championship match against Andrade. Pissed about that, Humberto tore up the floor mats and proceeded to get revenge on Andrade by hitting a hammerlock DDT on the exposed concrete – the same way Andrade put him on the shelf last month.

That little act, stealing Andrade’s move and injuring him the same way El Idolo attacked him, was a nice touch. While Andrade is the horse to bet on as the next big Latino star between the two, WWE should keep trying to jumpstart Humberto.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
