Well, you knew Brock Lesnar was going to take being tossed from the Royal Rumble by Drew McIntyre lightly.

Brock entered the Rumble at #1 and proceeded to toss 13 straight men, setting a record for “normal” Rumbles. However, he was eliminated by McIntyre’s Claymore kick, which sent him into a frenzy. He departed the ringside area, as McIntyre went on to win the Rumble and then challenge Lesnar Monday night.

After Drew defeated both members of the OC in a handicap match, Brock snuck up behind him and hit an F-5, leaving his WrestleMania challenger lying in the ring. It helped reinforce how personal this is – Brock was humiliated at the Rumble – and that this is an uphill climb for McIntyre.

So far, so good on the buildup.
