8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 25)

4. That Was A Heel Turn, Right?

For now, let’s assume that Seth Rollins’ in-ring promo to open Raw was a heel turn. Insulting Rey Mysterio and others was a pretty decent sign of someone who doesn’t want to be cheered.

Rollins bitched and moaned like a whiny millennial about how no one pulled their weight at Survivor Series, criticizing everyone except himself, who was pinned cleanly by Keith Lee. He put down Randy Orton (the weak link in their team), Charlotte Flair (a captain who was eliminated early), AOP (they weren’t even on the show, so why bother showing up tonight?) and Rey (who couldn’t beat Brock Lesnar with a steel pipe and his stupid son’s help).

And then everyone else walked off, abandoning Seth, save for Kevin Owens, who let his Stunner do the talking.

If this was a heel turn to make Rollins into the bitchy guy who “wants the best” for Raw, so be it. It’s closer in line with his online persona. If not, then this should move over to the “downs” column pretty aggressively.
