8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Dec 5)

1. Desperate KO

You’ve got a love how desperate Kevin Owens has become to hold onto his WWE Universal Championship.

The self-proclaimed prizefighter clearly is realizing that his chances of retaining his title might rest in the hands of (former) best friend Chris Jericho. So, KO spent Raw trying to woo Jericho back, offering him gifts of a United States Championship match and a bout against Seth Rollins at Roadblock. Owens also tried to interfere in the U.S. title match to help Y2J, but it backfired, with KO slinking away as Jericho fell.

Owens has now found himself alone for the first time as champ, and it doesn’t bode well for him. Seeing him this desperate for help is a great setup for the PPV, as it should produce one of two things: a swerve with Jericho faking all-along, or a champ willing to stoop to any level to hold onto his title. That could make for an interesting PPV.
