8. Continuity Is Back In Style

OK, so maybe it was continuity when it was convenient, but let’s take it while we can.

On Raw last week, Ric Flair showed up to raise Sasha Banks’ hand after she defeated his daughter in her hometown of Charlotte, N.C. It was a move that might have been confusing to someone who started watching Raw five months ago or less.

But back in May, Charlotte dismissed her father from her entourage in a vicious promo, kicking him out of the ring and making him sob. Monday, we were reminded of that promo – several times – closing the circle and explaining how we got to this point.

Hey, Sasha even reminded viewers that Flair cost her the title back at WrestleMania – though she also forgave him. But that was another glimpse of continuity.
