Downs...

6. What’s In A Name?

Minor gripe here, but when Seth Rollins revealed (to strict WWE fans) that “Finn Balor” wasn’t his SummerSlam opponent’s real name, did anyone else jump up and down and ask the TV, “Well then, what’s his real name?”

But since WWE apparently can’t say “Fergal Devitt” on TV, we were left with Rollins explaining the meaning of the name Finn Balor (apparently, it’s “Famous warrior, demon king”), which actually was pretty cool. But it still was silly to “out” Balor as not using his real name like that… especially since Rollins then joked that he should go by “Rambo Apocalypse.”

Ummm, Seth?... If that’s your real name, and it really isn’t. Guess saying, “Well, Seth Rollins isn’t my real name either” would’ve been too much fourth wall stuff for WWE and Tyler Black.

It’s understandable what WWE was going for here, but when you go down that road, you’ve got to consider that it might not turn out as great as it sounds.
