3. The Feud Must Continue

During the TLC kickoff show Sunday night, Elias defeated Bobby Lashley in a ladder match, only to fall victim to a guitar shot afterward.

Monday night, we saw Lashley mocking Elias’ typical in-ring concert (complete with butt pose), only for the troubadour to blast Bobby with a guitar of his own and leaving to cheers from the crowd. Later on, we found out that Lashley and Elias will tangle on Christmas Eve Raw in the annual Miracle on 34th Street Fight.

The annual bout is the usual holiday-inspired street fight, which typically is contrived as hell. It sometimes is so bad it’s good, but we shouldn’t hold our breaths. And that will be the next installment of the Elias/Lashley feud that is going nowhere.

Oh, and can we point out that even as the McMahon Family told everyone they were going to give us fresh content, we are getting the same Miracle on 34th Street Fight we get every year? It’s almost never good. Without looking at spoilers, we’ll predict the use of candy cane kendo sticks, Christmas trees, wrapped “presents” and eggnog.
