8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 29)

4. Rousey A No-Show

No, Ronda Rousey was not plugged to appear at Raw on Monday night after her earth-shaking debut at the Royal Rumble. But her absence was disappointing.

It was made worse when WWE.com and the company’s social media accounts advertised that we would find out how Rousey’s appearance would “shake up Raw tonight.” While it didn’t specifically say Rowdy Ronda would be there, it strongly hinted at appearance, and learning that we would only get a recap and a couple comments from the announcers was frustrating.

Given that her debut proved somewhat controversial given when it took place (upstaging Asuka), you’d think WWE would want to have Rousey try to undo some of the animosity and get her on the right track. Instead, it was video time.

If she’s going to WrestleMania, Ronda will be on Raw soon enough, so just keep your eyes open.
