1. No Public Firing?
When Demon Kane lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell Sunday night, it meant that his Corporate Kane alter ego would be fired as Director of Operations from the Authority. And indeed, when Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Rollins came out to sing Seths praises, they agreed that Kane was out and the Authority was stronger as a result. But where was the public humiliation of Kane? When have you ever known WWE to pass up a good opportunity for public embarrassment in a storyline sense? When the Authority lost power at Survivor Series last year, they showed up on Raw the next night to grovel and complain before Daniel Bryan showed them the door. So why didnt the same thing happen to Corporate Kane? It would have been a nice way to send off the character, firing him in the opening, only for the masked Demon Kane to re-emerge 90 minutes later to confront Bray Wyatt.
