8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 2)

5. B-Team, B-Team, No No No!

The B-Team is a fun novelty act. Their 50-day run as Raw Tag Team Champions lasted 48 days too long, but they’re still a fun act.

Last week, The Revival actually held their own against Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler in a surprisingly competitive tag title match. It was a step forward for the duo after getting punked out by Drew & Dolph and then ignored for a couple weeks.

And then we had Monday’s tag match between these two teams. One guess which one won.

The goofs pulled off another “miracle” win, not by outwrestling their opponents, but by getting lucky and blocking a Rocket Launcher by getting the knees up and rolling Dash Wilder up. So much for The Revival looking strong after last week’s tough loss.

It’s just more confusing and nonsensical booking from WWE. Carry on.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
