Corey Graves is this writer’s spirit animal – at least in one instance.

During a Mixed-Match Challenge rematch between Finn Balor & Bayley versus Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox, Graves commented on the team names, Team B ‘n’ B and Team Mahalicia: “Why does every team name begin with the word ‘team’?”

This was a very noticeable thing when the tag division got a few new pairings in 2012-13, with Team Hell No and Team Rhodes Scholars being two of the more prominent duos. There was no reason to call them “Team…” anything. The Rhodes Scholars or even Hell No would have worked fine.

The “Team” thing was dumb then, and it’s dumb now. Thanks to Corey Graves for calling it out.
