It won’t be called a storied rivalry for the ages, but Neville and Austin Aries have now had a trio of good PPV matches for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Sunday’s bout was a hard-hitting affair that saw both men attack different body parts throughout the contest, alternating between knees, arms and necks. There wasn’t a ton of flipping or dives, but the high-risk moves that were used worked nicely in concert with a series of submission moves. In the end, it was a Red Arrow to the back and an immediate Rings of Saturn that allowed Neville to retain.

It’s pretty safe to say that Neville’s career is looking better than it has at any point since he was called up to the main roster, and here’s hoping that his next feud (this has to be the end of this rivalry, right?) is just as good.
