8 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Aug 10)

7. The Silent Killer

R-Truth 24/7

The eight-man tag match between Cedric Alexander, Ricochet & the Viking Raiders and Akira Tozawa & his ninjas looked like it was going to be an utter joke, until it was revealed that the joke was on us – and Tozawa.

The Raiders, Ricochet & Alexander made short work of the ninjas, with one ninja and Akira fleeing up the ramp before the match ended. The ninja then motioned for a referee and rolled up Tozawa for the 24/7 Championship, betraying his leader. But then we quickly learned that the ninja was in fact R-Truth.

We haven’t had the fun deception-style title change in a bit, so this was enjoyable to see. And let’s face it: the 24/7 title is at its best when it’s either in possession of or being pursued by R-Truth.

So for now, Truth’s got his baby back.
