4. A Plausible Reason

Braun Strowman’s heel turn was a major strike against Raw last week, as WWE chose to make the guy almost universally cheered the villain instead of the guy who is booed by about 60% of the audience.

Monday, however, Strowman provided a logical reason for his partnering with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. He showed a video package that included footage of The Shield bailing out Roman Reigns when Braun tried to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase two weeks ago.

Braun then said that he tried to do things face-to-face and that Roman should have taken his beating and accepted his fate, but since his running buddies were going to keep saving him, he needed backup of his own.

Of course, rather than have two tweener factions, Braun dropped the dreaded, “I don’t give a damn” what the fans think, just so they knew he was the heel in this equation. Of course.
