8 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 3)

1. Shield Broken

During their initial run as a top faction, The Shield decimated wrestlers up and down the card, attacking like a pack of wild dogs.

So with that in mind, it’s understandable why the locker room emptied out at the end of Raw to attack Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. The heels joined Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre to destroy the members of The Shield, beating them from the proverbial pillar to post.

Reigns was battered with steel steps. Rollins was launched off the stage into the van, cutting his arm open. Ambrose was pummeled on top of the announce desk (in front of his wife Renee Young). By the end of the program, all three were left broken on the floor in a heap, a rare sight for the Hounds of Justice.

It definitely made things a bit more interesting, with Braun’s group poised to give The Shield a serious run as a top faction, and Hell in a Cell less than two weeks away.
