Its understandable if fans feel that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were cheated of the Tag Team Championships, that New Days should not have walked out of Las Vegas with the titles. At the same time, the chaotic nature of the tag title fatal fourway kind of absolved everyone and defended continuing the status quo for now.

New Day managed to escape with the titles after a series of (sometimes sloppy) finishers and saves, ending with Anderson being pulled off a pin attempt and tossed aside for Kofi Kingston to steal the pin on Aiden English. The match itself proved to be a perfect opener for the crowd, sucking them in and keeping things energetic and entertaining.

Hopefully, this will set up Gallows and Anderson demanding a straight tag match for the titles, citing the crazy ending of Sundays bout.
