8 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2016

Downs...

7. A Heel Turn? Sure

Natalya Becky Lynch

On one hand, Natalya had long been directionless and simply competing in matches because shes an accomplished wrestler. She needed a character that was more than being a second-generation star with a really famous uncle.

However, did her blasting Becky Lynch after losing yet another match to Charlotte make any sense? Nattie has every right to be upset after losing four title shots against the champ in three months, but this felt like a turn for the sake of having a turn. Hopefully, it will lead to a couple fresh matchups and provide a new challenger for Sasha Banks. But still, this just felt tacked on.

And while were at it, a strike against the writers for having Becky be duped yet again. Shes now been abandoned by Paige, Charlotte and now Natalya. Looks like she better hope Bayley gets to WWE soon and doesnt turn on her.
