2. A Huge Countout Victory

When the announcers play up a countout win as a huge victory for you, it’s probably a sign that you really don’t have many big victories to your name.

Such is the case of Titus O’Neil, who won a bout Monday against United States Champion Rusev by sidestepping the Bulgarian Brute’s charge outside the ring, then beating the count back into the ring. The match itself wasn’t terrible, thought Titus seems to be out of his class against Rusev. Still, giving O’Neil a reason to rage against the champ (Rusev insulted Titus’ kids at Money in the Bank) helped add some depth to this ongoing feud.

Nonetheless, it looks more like this “big victory” will only prolong the feud for another title shot before Titus fades into the background again. It just feels like Rusev is being given a feud to kill some time.
