Looks like Randy Orton isn’t the only person who has become a sacrificial lamb at the altar of the bizarre experiment known as Jinder Mahal.

Shinsuke Nakamura was one of the most popular wrestlers at SummerSlam, with fans singing his theme throughout the match, chanting his name and being completely into everything he did in the ring. So of course he lost his WWE Championship match against Jinder Mahal after a distraction from the Singh brothers. Naturally.

How many of the 1.3 billion people in India are subscribing to the WWE Network right now? Because unless there’s a good number signed up or planning to sign up, then WWE must be going for an Indian Honky Tonk Man gimmick here. Nakamura’s loss followed the exact same routine that the Orton matches did, and if this is going to continue, then they must be going full HTM.

Otherwise, this was just a big middle finger to fans who wanted to see the electric Shinsuke reach the mountaintop.
