8 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Battleground 2015

3. The Deadman Cometh

Before you ask, SummerSlam will be the first non-WrestleMania PPV that Undertaker has wrestled at since Bragging Rights 2010, nearly five years ago. The fact that Taker is back when it isn€™t WrestleMania season is both cool and troubling €“ business must really be down if he€™s here now. Still, Undertaker is a legendary figure who comes in, wrestling rarely and generating a huge buzz all the while. Could that duplicate itself this summer? We shall see. It is sad that WWE has to resort to tactics like this, but seeing the Undertaker back in the ring about seven months ahead of his normal schedule was a legit shock, one that certainly got fans buzzing. And he looked pretty good, which is a good sign. Taker€™s return provided WWE with a must-see, can€™t-miss moment on the Network, something the company needed almost as bad as improved Raw ratings. We shall see in the coming weeks what happens with Undertaker, but it€™s hard to totally rate his return as a bad thing.
