8 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Battleground 2015

2. So Much For That Title Match

If you were enjoying the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins, or if you just enjoy counting suplexes, you were probably pretty disappointed to see the Undertaker make his return during the bout. Taker€™s surprise return during the main event shocked many and effectively ended the title match without a conclusion. In fact, Rollins and the referee were nowhere to be found when the lights came on. It€™s understandable that WWE is not your typical athletic competition. There can be matches that end without a winner or a loser, and that€™s (supposedly) fine. But when a PPV main event title match ends like that, it feels like a huge cop-out, even when the reason for it is the shocking return of the Undertaker. It€™s not like we€™re going to see a rematch on Raw, and you know that this is setting up Undertaker versus Lesnar at SummerSlam, so you also know Brock won€™t get a return bout next month either. Ah well.
