8 Ways Dean Ambrose Will Emerge As WrestleMania 31's Biggest Star
4. Ending A Career
A common criticism of the direction Ambrose has taken over the past few weeks is his new "silly" nature. His booby-trapping of the Money in the Bank briefcase with green slime seemed entirely out of place, watering down an otherwise hate-fuelled feud with Seth Rollins. Assuming these shenanigans will only continue (and worsen) as the rest of the feud plays out, Ambrose could well be due an injection of danger come WrestleMania to remind everybody who he is. A shocking way to do this would be to finally end the career of Kane. Rumours of Glenn Jacobs' retirement intensified earlier this year, with many news sources speculating that he is keen to quit the business - only holding on to his job due to the large paychecks offered. With the Big Red Machine stuck in the uninspiring role of the Authority's lackey (and certainly not getting any younger), 'Mania could be the ideal stage to send him out with a bang. You would suspect a man of Jacobs' renowned professionalism would have no problem going out on the end of a decisive beating from Ambrose, and Dean would certainly have no qualms with a match pushing the limits of PG, having cut his teeth in the notoriously violent Combat Zone Wrestling.
