8 Ways Dean Ambrose Will Emerge As WrestleMania 31's Biggest Star
5. Going Old-School With Triple H
Dean would have to win this one - period. The hatred between Triple H and Ambrose can be traced back to the Authority/Shield feud, during which Hunter seemed to pay particular attention to the Shield's de facto leader in beatdowns. Dean's subsequent antagonizing of Triple H's cronies makes a reprise of this feud a very viable option, and it's hard to see the Game resisting another appearance at WrestleMania. The opener with Bryan this year was considered by many to be match of the night, and proved that Triple H was still more than capable of going - especially on wrestling's biggest stage. A match between these two would likely be an incredibly hard-hitting encounter. They're both renowned brawlers despite Hunter's more technical overtones. The key to Ambrose emerging as a star from this match would be for Triple H to forbid himself from going over. Who can forget his defeat of Randy Orton in the main event of WrestleMania 25 (a match Randy really, REALLY should have won), or the way he injected himself into the Summer of Punk in 2011- and beat the potential saviour of wrestling. Like the last entry, this option for Ambrose carries a considerable risk. However, the upside of a victory for the less experienced man would be huge. A clean win over the Game never hurt anyone. Except Shelton Benjamin.
