8 Ways WWE Can Reinvent Seth Rollins

5. Let Him Go Insane

Seth Rollins Triple H
WWE

After a taxing run with The Fiend mentally, both in and out of character mind you, this may be just the thing Rollins needs. Just don't go full mental breakdown and turn him into a pyromaniac. Nobody needs that side of the Attitude Era back.

But remember when Seth went mad for a few weeks and started eliminating everybody who wanted to be Corbin's special guest referee with a chair? That was exactly the type of crazy badass that could help turn Seth back around. And it also allows WWE to keep him as one of their top babyfaces.

Returning this steel chair gimmick, you could start having Seth go on a bit of a downward spiral mentally. After ending his program with The Fiend at Crown Jewel, (assuming he leaves champion) have him start defending his belt every week. But rather than defend his belt cleanly, he can just beat the hell out of anybody who dares face him with his steel chair companion. Leaving all heel challengers to his belt unable to compete, he can finally start to feel strong again.

Think back to that "Seth Rollins is not cool" fan from Hell in a Cell. He is right currently, but WWE and Seth should be focused on proving those who believe that wrong. Getting his edge back by letting him have a badass run might be the best way to bring him back to the top.
