8 Ways WWE Can Reinvent Seth Rollins

2. Make Him The "New Triple H"

Or we could go a completely different direction with reinventing him. Ever since adopting the pedigree into his arsenal, the Triple H comparisons were always going to begin. And that was further cemented when he pinned The Game with his own finisher at WrestleMania 33. Why not lean into it even more?

Having Rollins become the new version of Triple H would mean taking victories even when controversial in nature. That is a big part of Hunter's history. Look to examples like Batista at WrestleMania 35, or the competitors at the 2016 Royal Rumble, or Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVI: the list goes on forever with these types of examples.

The point is that Seth defeating The Fiend was a very controversial decision, and one directly tied with Vince McMahon. Embracing that fan knowledge may be the best thing here. This can morph the narrative to being the McMahons protecting their new "golden child" in Seth and it might actually turn that bad booking around for the better.

This also gives a potential alternate ending at Crown Jewel, especially since Saudi Arabia always tends to bring older stars such as Triple H. Having them end the match in a controversial way once again at a controversial event with the help of Seth's old friend would draw a massive amount of heat. If pulled off correctly, there might be no better way to launch a brilliant heel run at the top than turning Rollins into the new Triple H in this sort of extraordinary fashion.

But really, any way is better than the current way.
