8 Ways WWE Can Reinvent Seth Rollins

1. Burn Him Down

The common theme throughout here is change. Some sort of reinvention to help save Seth Rollins and save WWE from themselves.

They managed to ruin what could've been two good Universal championship reigns with poor booking and overly scripted promos. And rather than listen to the bad reception, WWE seems to want to give us more of the same.

Repeatedly chanting "burn it down" has given heat to Rollins' promos in the worst ways. People are flaming him because he has come to represent a lot of the mistakes WWE continues to make. Forcing hot catchphrases that go on merchandise down our throats and booking strange finishes to potentially great contests has become as synonymous with Seth as it is with Vince. And none of that is his fault, he is being a good company guy. But that is where both WWE and Rollins are blind to the problem.

He is too much of what the company wants. The overcoming all odds babyface who manages to do nothing with the title because nobody is connecting to him. Because Seth Rollins feels nothing like a real person.

Rollins needs to come back refreshed to change that. Perhaps a new look, new haircut, new gimmick, new theme music. Whatever it needs to be, they need to "burn it down" and start anew.

Fire stimulates growth and allowing Rollins to rise from the ashes will hopefully lead to the type of phoenix-like rise that transformed Tyler Black the indy star into Seth Rollins the top WWE star.
