Although the WWE Divas division is in a much better place than it was, say, a year or two ago, looking back at the events of the summer of 2015, you can't help but be slightly disappointed at the wasted potential that the unprecedented Divas Revolution has been thus far. The introduction of Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks ushered in a new era for women's wrestling, at least within the ranks of the WWE, and the sky was most certainly the limit for the possibilities that could emerge from such a progression.
For the first time in a long time, people were excited to see the Divas wrestle. For many, myself included, it was one of the main reasons to tune in every week. Not only that, but the girls were getting two decent-length matches on Raw, when not too long ago they'd be lucky to get five minutes. Hell, only recently we would go several weeks without seeing Divas on WWE's flagship show. They promised a revolution and that's most certainly what we got.
However, the fun wouldn't last very long, and a number of questionable decisions would ultimately lead the movement into becoming stale and boring. Google the words "divas revolution" and the suggested searches should give you a good idea of how it's been received over the last number of months...
