8 Ways WWE Dropped The Ball With The Divas Revolution

1. Not Using Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is easily one of the greatest female talents that WWE has seen walk through its doors, especially in the last number of years. The woman is the full package, she€™s insanely talented in the ring, she€™s beautiful and she fits into her heel personal phenomenally. She also knows the business too, and grew up as a fan, which is never a bad thing. The fact that she idolises the late, great Eddie Guerrero makes her a champion in my books. She€™s not always portrayed as a vicious vixen, but watch her main event Iron Man Match at NXT Takeover: Respect and you€™ll know what I mean when I say she can be a fanastic heel. That€™s where the issue lies with Sasha though. You need to resort back to her work in NXT to truly see where her strengths lie, because she isn€™t featured nearly enough on weekly WWE programming, at least not as a legitimate threat to the Divas Championship, for the casual viewer to get an idea of who they€™re dealing with. She was the NXT Women€™s Champion when she made her debut alongside Becky Lynch and Charlotte, and she was heavily featured in the lead-up to SummerSlam, but has completely fallen off the map since then. Sasha Banks has a number of singles victories, via submission no less, against former Divas Champion, Paige, yet she has barely any presence on Raw and Smackdown. You put the title on her or Becky Lynch and allow them to go at it in a rematch from NXT Takeover: Unstoppable, and you have money right there. It€™s something rare and beautiful to have legitimately talented technical wrestlers in the Divas division, and WWE needs to pull the trigger and let a girl like Sasha Banks run like the wind, because there is zero doubt that she would fit into the role of top heel Diva perfectly.
