Brock Lesnar will returns as the triumphant hero coming home from foreign lands, having vanquished the enemy in the name of the WWE. This comeback needs to presented as one of the biggest events of the year.

Like Seth Rollins' Extreme Rules return, Brock is going to receive one of the hugest babyface pops imaginable. It doesn't matter that he was presented as a heel the last time we saw him; the fans want to cheer Lesnar, and they are going to whatever the situation.

The mistake the company made with Rollins was to entirely ignore the fact, and continue pushing him as a villain. Admittedly, the circumstances were different; WWE were then committed to the Roman Reigns project. This doesn't apply to Brock, so we need to see a completely different story.

The Beast's victorious homecoming will build anticipation like the Second Coming. WWE needs to present it as such - and let the fans enjoy it. And for the love of God, don't just have him dancing around in the background as Paul Heyman cuts a promo. A cardboard cut-out could do that job.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
